What is Dementia Care?

My Joyful Home Care also operates as a  dementia care center. My Joyful Home Care’s dementia care team specializes in the care of mild to severe dementia. Our dementia care specialists have obtained specialized training in this area. This gives them the skills they need to assist our patients in their daily lives. Which involves helping them with their daily hygiene, food, targeted activities, and recreation. This team is also responsible for the medical supervision of the individuals in their care. Our dementia patients thrive because My Joyful Home Care takes an all-encompassing approach to dementia care.

Patients with dementia frequently forget how to accomplish even the most basic duties. These patients can still lead normal life if they receive proper treatment. Our dementia care strategy enables us to support our patients with their everyday routine. We can do this while still recognizing their individuality.

Our approach focuses on activities that engage our clients in four major categories to deliver individualized and meaningful care: cognitive, physical, psychosocial, and sensorimotor.
